So honoured to read at the Poetry Pharmacy for the launch of Jean Atkin’s collection The Bicycles of Ice and Salt, published by Indigo Dreams, with (l to r) Wolverhampton Poet Laureate Kuli Kohli, Steve Griffiths, Jean, Margaret Adkins and Gareth Culshaw.
As well as writing great poems Jean is a generous supporter of poets and poetry – I owe her a lot for the skilful way she mentored me – otherwise I would never have had the courage to publish.
